The role: Night Receptionist

While most of the city sleeps, you’re the friendly face (and steady hand) welcoming guests to Via Antwerp. As our Night Receptionist, you’ll be the key point of contact during the overnight hours — managing check-ins, answering late-night questions, and making sure everything stays safe, secure, and stress-free until morning.

This isn’t just a desk job — it’s a chance to be part of a hotel that lives and breathes personality, even after dark. Whether you're helping a guest find a midnight snack or preparing the day’s reports, you’ll bring calm, charm, and a can-do spirit to every task.

With our grand opening on the horizon, you’ll also play a role in setting the tone for what night shifts feel like at Via Antwerp — building great habits and systems from the start.

What you’ll do

• Be the welcoming face at night: Greet guests warmly, manage check-ins and check-outs, and handle any requests with care.

• Support smooth night operations: Assist with night audit tasks, prepare handovers, and keep everything running efficiently.

• Prioritize safety: Monitor the property and report any issues promptly to ensure guests feel secure.

• Be a reliable point of contact: Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-ins with professionalism and a personal touch.

• Keep the vibe going: Reflect the Via Antwerp personality — even at 2 a.m. — by creating a warm, relaxed, and helpful atmosphere.

• Prep for the morning: Help get things in order so the day team starts off strong.

You’ll be a great fit if you bring the below with you

• Previous experience in hospitality or a customer service setting — night shift experience is a plus.

• A friendly, approachable attitude and a love for helping others.

• Ability to work independently and stay focused during quiet hours.

• Fluent in English and Dutch (bonus points for other languages).

• Comfort with hotel systems and tech tools — experience with PMS like Mews or Opera is a plus.

• Reliability, attention to detail, and a calm, can-do mindset.
