The role: Sales Manager
At Via Antwerp, we’re not your typical hotel. We’re a vibrant lifestyle hub in the heart of Zurenborg — where bold design meets warm hospitality, where locals and travelers connect, and where every stay tells a story.
As Sales Manager, you’ll be a driving force behind our commercial success. You’ll be part of the opening team, which means this is your chance to help shape our positioning in the market from the ground up. You’ll lead the charge in building brand awareness, growing our client base, and filling our rooms, meeting spaces, and restaurant seats with the right people — guests who get what Via is all about.
This is a role for a go-getter who knows how to build relationships, spot opportunities, and turn potential into revenue. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and marketing team to put Via Antwerp on the map — not just as a place to stay, but as a local hotspot with its own rhythm.
What you’ll do
Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to drive room nights, meetings & events, and F&B bookings.
Identify and secure partnerships with key accounts — from corporate clients to creative agencies and event organizers.
Represent Via Antwerp at trade shows, local events, and networking opportunities.
Manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and account management.
Build strong relationships with local businesses, travel trade, and influencers to grow awareness in Antwerp and beyond.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align messaging, promotions, and activations.
Provide regular reporting and insights to the GM and ownership — tracking performance, market trends, and opportunities.
Support the pre-opening phase by setting up sales systems, creating collateral, and helping shape our brand launch strategy.
Job requirements
You’ll be a great fit if you bring the below with you
A proven track record in hospitality or lifestyle brand sales, ideally in a hotel or travel-related environment.
Strong network in Antwerp, Belgium, or the Benelux region (or a plan to build one fast).
Commercially driven with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Fluent in English and Dutch — other languages are a bonus.
Passionate about creative hospitality, local culture, and bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Excited to be part of a pre-opening team and help build something from scratch.
