The role: Hotel Management Trainee (Assistant to the GM)

As our Hotel Management Trainee — and right hand to the General Manager — you’ll be stepping into a dynamic, all-round role at the beating heart of Via Antwerp. This is a unique opportunity to learn the ropes of hotel leadership from the inside out, in a vibrant new lifestyle hotel set to open its doors in mid-June 2025.

You’ll support the GM across all departments — from front office to F&B, housekeeping to guest experience — gaining hands-on experience in day-to-day operations while also contributing to the bigger picture. No two days will look the same. You might be helping refine a service process one moment, and jumping in to welcome guests the next.

We’re looking for someone eager, adaptable, and full of positive energy — someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, ask questions, and take ownership. You’ll be part of our opening team, helping us shape the DNA of Via Antwerp and bring our bold vision to life. What you’ll do

You’ll be a great fit if you bring the below with you

• Enrolled in a hospitality management program (Bachelor’s or similar), with hands-on experience through internships or part-time roles in hotels.

• A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

• Great people skills — you're approachable, upbeat, and a team player.

• Naturally organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.

• Fluent in English and Dutch; other languages are a bonus.

• Comfortable with tech — from PMS systems to Excel.

• Excited to be part of an opening team and play a key role from day one.
