The role: Front Office Manager

As our Front Office Manager, you’ll be the face (and heart) of Via Antwerp — a vibrant new lifestyle hotel in the heart of the city. You’ll lead and inspire our front office team with passion, professionalism, and a big smile, making sure every guest experience begins and ends on a high note.

From the very first “hello” to the final “see you next time,” you’ll set the tone for the entire guest journey. Your leadership will be key in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects our unique personality and values. You’ll be hands-on in the day-to-day operations, but also forward-thinking — always looking for ways to improve the guest experience, streamline processes, and support your team in delivering next-level hospitality.

As we prepare to open our doors, you’ll also play a vital role in shaping the front office operations from the ground up. From recruiting and training your team to setting service standards and building a strong guest culture, you’ll help us bring our vision to life — and make Via Antwerp a place people love to stay (and work).

What you’ll do

• Lead the Front Office team: Hire, train, and inspire our front desk staff to deliver exceptional service.

• Create memorable guest experiences: Ensure every interaction is warm, friendly, and aligned with the Via Antwerp vibe.

• Oversee daily operations: Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest requests with precision and a personal touch.

• Support hotel opening: Help set up systems, procedures, and team training ahead of our June 2025 launch.

• Collaborate across departments: Work closely with housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance to ensure a smooth operation.

• Handle guest feedback: Proactively resolve issues and turn challenges into opportunities for delight.

• Ensure compliance and security: Keep the front office running safely and smoothly, according to brand standards and local regulations.

• Use technology smartly: Optimize the use of PMS and communication tools to keep everything running seamlessly.

You’ll be a great fit if you bring the below with you

• A hospitality pro with 3+ years of experience in front office or guest services, ideally in a lifestyle hotel.

• A confident leader who leads by example and knows how to motivate and manage a team.

• Calm under pressure, with a natural problem-solving mindset.

• Passionate about guest experience and hospitality trends.

• Fluent in English and Dutch; other languages are a plus.

• Tech-savvy and comfortable with hotel systems (experience with PMS like Mews or Opera is a bonus).

• Excited to be part of an opening team and shape the culture of a new hotel.
