The role: Bartender

As a Bartender at Via Antwerp, you’ll be more than just a cocktail shaker — you’ll be a storyteller, vibe curator, and key part of our guest experience. Behind the bar at Mea, our all-day restaurant and social hub, you’ll mix up more than drinks — you’ll mix personality, style, and hospitality, creating moments guests will remember long after the last sip.

By day, Mea is a sunlit escape where the vibrant energy of Antwerp meets the warmth of the Eastern Mediterranean — filled with the aromas of roasted spices and freshly baked bread. By night, it transforms into a buzzing hangout with bold flavors, curated cocktails, and an irresistible atmosphere. And you? You’ll be right in the middle of it all, bringing the space to life with every pour and every connection.

What you’ll do

• Serve up beautifully crafted cocktails, wines, and drinks with personality.

• Be a welcoming presence at the bar, sparking conversation and connection.

• Work closely with the F&B and kitchen team to complement the flavors of Mea.

• Keep the bar area organized, stylish, and on point.

• Be part of the pre-opening team — helping to shape service style and bar identity.

• Contribute creative ideas for new drinks, rituals, or events.

• Stay calm, confident, and in control — even on the busiest nights.

You’ll be a great fit if you bring the below with you

• Passionate about hospitality, flavor, and creating unforgettable guest moments.

• Experienced behind the bar (1+ year preferred), ideally in a vibrant or lifestyle-driven setting.

• Knowledgeable about spirits, wine, and cocktail trends — and always eager to learn more.

• Naturally social, with a great sense of style and storytelling.

• Fluent in English and Dutch (other languages are a bonus).

• Excited to bring the spirit of Mea to life and be part of something new from day one.
